Reality Blurred rounds up the reviews on Tim Gunn's Guide to Style.

Here is Twistie's review from the new "Manolo For the Big Girl" blog, and don't miss Moi's recap. If any other BPRs are planning to recap the show, please let us know.

Here is an interview with Michael Kors in the Wall Street Journal. Thanks Anne.

I enjoyed this interview with Laura Bennett from Reuters:

Woodstock channeled his inner showgirl when model Camilla strutted out in a bright yellow top hat and matching dress with beaded top and sassy skirt made of feathers.

"I put Woodstock in a little bitty dress. I used dyed ostrich feathers," said designer Laura Bennett, the "Project Runway" finalist from the Bravo show last fall.

But it was her vision of Pig Pen in clouds of light brown tulle and a copper jersey gown that almost stopped the show.

"Pig Pen was a little bit more of a challenge," Bennett told Reuters. "He's known for his grunge aesthetic. I wanted to give him some of my glam."

Here is an interview with Alison Kelly. Thanks Anne.

Here is a little bit more about the "Snoopy in Fashion" Show.

The reviews are unanimous - Laura Bennett's designs are a hit!

BPR Exclusive - Snoopy in Fashion Report

BPR ace field reporter Nancy T gives us this report from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

On September 7, the designs of Laura Bennett were featured in MetLife’s Snoopy in Fashion show at Fashion Week. She’s getting to be an old pro at this, since it’s the third time her styles have appeared in the Bryant Park tents in the last year. She was in good company, with fashions from big-name designers (Mizrahi, Betsey Johnson, Liz Claiborne, Heatherette) and celebrities (Kristen Chenoweth, Whoopi Goldberg). The show was noisy, flashy and packed to standing room only with over 1200 attendees from fashion, media, and entertainment.

Unlike most Fashion Week shows, this event could almost be thought of as a Project Runway challenge: Take a Peanuts comic strip theme, and create something ‘signature’ and wearable. Most of the results were great, but I think Laura would have won the challenge. Laura found the essence of two Peanuts characters – Woodstock and Pigpen – and recreated their moods, movement, and appearances, while maintaining her trademark glamorous style.

Woodstock was a canary yellow confection that bounced as Laura’s Project Runway model Camilla flirtily shook her tail feathers.

Pigpen was a sparkly reddish brown gown, form-fitting and sexy but with a cloud of brown tulle at the shoulders.

I think Laura rocked the show --but, watch the video and judge for yourself!

At Fashion Week

We've been in a such frenzy over the Project Runway Season 4 designers and the Tim Gunn's Guide to Style premiere, we've nearly ignored that this is Fashion Week!

Tim Gunn and fashion accomplice Veronica Webb were seen enjoying each other's company at the Tracy Reese show on Friday, September 8th.

Nina Garcia, radiant in red, was seen at the Behnaz Sarafpour show on September 7th.

Here we see a very svelte Michael Kors rocking his shades at the Conde Nast Media Group's 4th Annual Fashion Rocks at Radio City on September 6th.

Jillian Has A Last Name!

Your BPR sleuths are at it again! We confirm that the other Project Runway Season 4 designer featured during the commercials last night is Jillian Lewis. We first met her in Project Runway Season 3 when she was featured on the 'Road to the Runway' episode. She tells us in her casting interview that she used to work for Searle.

Chris Has A Last Name!

Your BPR internet sleuths have been hard at work today tracking down information on the newly revealed Project Runway Season 4 contestants and look who we found! Meet Chris March, who according to his resume, is:
An established costume designer and creative director with 15 years experience in theatrical and commercial productions. Outstanding reputation for delivering unique, highly creative designs with high production values.
He is also an actor, greeting card model and has expertise in the:
"Design and styling of headpieces and wigs ranging from 3 to 50 feet in height." (!)
Oh my, he sounds like a lot of fun. Welcome to Season 4, Chris!

BPRs will remember Chris from this field report!

Guide To Style Premiere Party!

We're not quite sure how Bravo can "premier" Tim's new show the night after they broadcast it for the first time, but we'll play along. It's Tim and it's a party and we're here to celebrate. Again.

As a bonus, we've been teased with the promise of our first glimpse at the Project Runway S4 designers. Will we get to see their faces? Dare they release any names? We'll see. In the meantime, grab a cuppa something and cozy up to the BPR bar as we watch Tim work his magic. All are welcome, come on in!
