Korto Momolu and Kenley Collins should both be very proud of their showing at Bryant Park and throughout Season Five of Project Runway. Their respective finale collections showed their distinct points of view and an argument could be made for either to have walked away with the prize. "Chacun a son gout", as Tim has stated throughout the 'Five Seasons of Fabulous.'

You didn't just bring your talent to Parsons - you also brought an exuberant and sunny personality. You clearly enjoyed working with others and no doubt you made many new friends during Season 5. You brought smiles to your fellow designers, your audience and to Tim Gunn; who could forget when you taught him, "Holla atcha boy"? You had an excellent opportunity to display your artistic vision as well as your playful turn of a phrase. You were delicious to watch and your garments exemplified 'girlicious.'You brought the fun, Blayne, and for that we are grateful.

You were the first designer with two wins in Season 5 and your victory came when you had immunity - one could say that you continued to be driven. You created a slinky, seductive gown with a relaxed cropped jacket. You softened the look with the surprise element of the ruffles down the back that charmed Fern Mallis. Diane von Furstenberg called it "a very pretty dress" with a "lot of good design." It was indeed the perfect disguise and now this siren frock can be ordered (click here) from the DVF collection as part of your reward. Well-deserved, Leanne!

This week the results were a surprise and our readers are likely to not agree with the judges. Like the winner, you took a risk - you selected electric colors and created exuberant ruffles across the front to simulate the look of neon blurred in your photograph. It seems that your biggest sin was the placement of the fabric embellishments on your little black dress. No one can say that you played it safe and your dress was playful, saucy and vibrant clearly showing your aesthetic. You exited having shown strong pieces and left us wanting to see more, knowing that as an established designer, we will see it.

Often in the BPR Love post we mention how fabric selections undo the designer but this week those choices weren't yours. Your model opted for shiny fabric that would be unforgiving on the sewing machine and she bought very little of it. You took a risk by creating multiple details on your dress and Natalie Portman expressed that she liked the little tie at the neckline. You established yourself early on to be a favorite with our readers and we believe that we got to see your young, girlie, sexy point-of-view in just two garments. What a great opportunity this was for you - we just know that there will be more coming your way after the exposure you received on the show.
