A highlight:
BPR: Who is your best friend from the cast?
JCP: Definitely Jake Wall. We will be friends for life.

JCP: Yes he did. He got to go home and be with his dog before he passed.
BPR: That was really heartbreaking...
JCP: I know. We all knew what he was going through that morning and it was hard to see Jake leave before his time, but he did the right thing and we all supported his decision.

A highlight:
BPR: I have a reader question from Mark: "Why didn't you choose Ashley in the team challenge?" Why didn't ANYONE choose Ashley?
BP: What was going through my mind was the previous challenge where Swapnil was up on the runway with me at the end. He really encouraged me to continue with my idea for the Mary Kay challenge. I mean of course I wanted Ashley on my team! I thought everyone would pick her! I was surprised at the end when Merline was chosen over Ashley. I was completely dumbfounded.

A highlight:
BPR: I have a reader question from Amy - where is the new workroom located? How far away was it from Mood? Why do you think you only went to Mood once in the first five challenges?
AP: The new workroom is in a beautiful space in Queens. It was gorgeous, I wanted to move right in. It was pretty far from Mood, but they set up our own "Mini-Mood" so we always had plenty to choose from.
BPR: Did you watch last week's episode?
AP: Honestly I have not watched it yet. I still have to catch up. I am very busy creating my Spring/Summer collection. Obviously my friends and family have been watching so I think I have heard everything that happened.

BPR Interview with Gabrielle Arruda
Project Runway Season 14 designer, Gabrielle Arruda, talks about her experience on the show.
A highlight:
BPR: I have a reader question from Mark: Do you think someone can be a good designer without having good construction skills?
GA: Project Runway is not the best showplace for construction skills. In a normal time frame I think I am able to execute very well.
You do need a very broad knowledge, a very in-depth knowledge of sewing in order to design, so that you know how to execute an idea. You need to know which fabrics will work for which designs. You need to know whether a seam will work, or a closure will rip out. So sewing is integral to designing, but you don't need to be the greatest sewer. Then you would be a seamstress and not a designer, but they do go hand in hand.
BPR: I have a reader question from Caren: What was the hardest thing about being on the show? Do you feel that you were prepared?
GA: I don't know if you can prepare for Project Runway. There is so much more that the viewers don't see. I got stuck in my head a little bit. It's hard to maintain that strong mental...armor. I'm a perfectionist and I want to everything "right." This is impossible on Project Runway.

BPR Interview with David Giampiccolo
A highlight:
BPR: Have you watched the previous seasons of the show?
DG: Yes, but not a lot. Well, I am from Belgium and of course I knew the show, but no, I didn't watch all of the previous seasons. After the first audition, I started to watch the last season.
BPR: So you were familiar with the unconventional materials challenge?
DG: Yes, yes of course. I know, I know.
BPR: On reflection, do you wish you had stayed with your original idea?
DG: No. I am happy with what I did. I mean I know, it was not enough cards, but I did not really like at all my first idea and when Tim Gunn came, actually he said exactly what I thought. But, when I decided to change, there was not a lot of time left. The idea wa to cover the hoodie with cards, but I didn't have enough time. I didn't just want to cover it, I wanted to make something cool and wearable, which I did. When I looked at it, I liked it, but I knew it would not be okay with the judges.
