Project Runway Stars Join Mondo Guerra at ArtDenver November 14th

 

What a treat for Project Runway fans!  Michael Costello,  Justin LeBlanc and Mondo Guerra will present their latest collections on Friday, November 14.  

Of course, we would love a field report!

ArtDenver, an all-new indoor fine arts experience featuring national fine artists, Colorado makers, art installations, interior design and fashion, has an impressive line up of Project Runway designers presenting their designs at the Opening Night Party & Fashion Show on Friday, November 14 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

Designers include Michael Costello, headlining designer; Mondo Guerra, featured designer and creative consultant; and Justin LeBlanc and Geoffrey Mac as featured designers.

Produced by the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, ArtDenver includes a juried art show with 135 exhibiting visual artists from all over the country, in 13 media categories, including ceramics, mixed media, digital art, photography, metal works and drawing. "Under the Gunn" Season 2 Now Casting!

As we approach the finale of Season One, we have received notice that Season Two of "Under the Gunn" is now casting!

Season Two mentors are Project Runway All-Stars, Mila Hermanovski, Michael Costello and Korto Momolu.  

The winning designer will receive $100,000 provided by Netflix and the opportunity to produce a capsule collection for Target.

MIchael Costello-designed dress headed to Grammy Museum

After Beyoncé wore this dress at the Grammy Awards show on January 26, 2014, she returned it to the designer - Project Runway All-Star, Michael Costello. 

 Costello says he plans to present three "red carpet" looks (including this one) at The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.  The designs will be on exhibit for one year.

FashioNXT in Portland Features Seven Project Runway Designers

Portland's FashioNXT event featured five Project Runway designers on Saturday night, October 12th.

Season 10 designer, Fabio Costa, opened the show.

All-Star Gordana Gehlhausen followed with a collection of gowns.

Season 9 designer, Josh Christensen, presented menswear as well as womenswear.

Season 7 Champion and All-Star, Seth Aaron Henderson, presented a capsule collection of three  whimsical looks. 

All-Star Michael Costello presented a collection of glamorous and romantic eventing gowns.

Earlier in the week, Season 9 designer, Becky Ross presented a colorful daywear collection.  Ross challenged herself to use what she had on hand to create most of her looks.

Season 11 Champion, (Portland's own!) Michelle Lesniak, presented her "Decay" collection on Friday night, October 11th.

Michael Costello Dresses BET Stars

Michael Costello tells us that he was responsible for the beautiful looks worn by four major stars on the red carpet at the BET Awards. He dressed the stunning Megan Good, shown below:

He also dressed Ashanti, Tamar Braxton, and Adrienne Bailon (shown below, left to right) at the star-studded event held Sunday, June 30th.
