For ten glorious seasons we have heard the iconic line uttered on the groundbreaking television series, Project Runway.
To commemorate this decade of fashion eye candy, journalist Eila Mell goes behind the scenes of this television and fashion landmark with her new book, Project Runway: The Show That Changed Fashion. She reveals how the show began and developed over the years, highlights ten seasons of hits and misses, and reveals what the designers are doing today. She also interviews the people behind the scenes, the top designers as well as workroom mentor Tim Gunn and judges Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, and Michael Kors.
Eila Mell is one of the industry’s go-to fashion authors, previously authoring New York Fashion Week: The Designers, the Models, the Fashions of the Bryant Park Era. Eila has been featured in a variety of media including The New York Times, Marie Claire, Zink Magazine, ELLE Canada, The Huffington Post and The Insider on CBS.
